William E. Ford

Bill is an attorney and a partner of Ford Law Office LLC. He also works as a civil mediator in Lehigh, Northampton and other eastern Pennsylvania counties. Bill served for 24 years as a trial judge on the Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas where he presided over thousands of civil matters including jury and non-jury trials, hearings in personal injury, malpractice, contracts, business disputes, and real estate.

Bill began his legal career in the United State Marine Corps as an officer in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Division where he was trial counsel at courts-martial. He then entered the private practice of law where he did business litigation, federal civil rights defense on behalf of the City of Allentown, worker’s compensation, and legal representation of families in personal injury, real estate, wills, and estates. He also prosecuted all manner of criminal cases including high profile murders as an assistant district attorney.

For 15 years, Bill was an adjunct faculty member at DeSales University and at Chestnut Hill College in its graduate program.

Bill received his undergraduate degree from DeSales University and his law degree from The Dickinson School of Law
