Sam Martinez - Case Manager

Sam brings more than 20 years of passion for serving youth and families to Family Promise of the Lehigh Valley. His career has taken many meaningful forms from working directly as a case manager, to facilitating a job readiness program at Northampton County Prison, to serving at-risk families in the Dominican Republic as a missionary.

Most recently, Sam worked with the Lehigh Conference of Churches as an outreach homeless case manager. Watching so many people find housing there only deepened his commitment to serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Sam is thrilled to bring that passion to Family Promise, where he looks forward to walking alongside families with compassion and helping connect them to the resources they need to reach stable housing.

Outside of work, Sam is a proud father of three grown children and a grandfather to one granddaughter. He enjoys yard sales and swimming, and he and his wife, Tammy, serve together as home group leaders at their church in Palmerton, PA.
